The submerged ruins of the Ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria (Pharos) offer a once-in-a-lifetime diving experience. Located near the Citadel of Qaitbay, this underwater archaeological site contains massive granite blocks, sphinxes, and colossal statues that once adorned the 100-meter-tall wonder. After being destroyed by series of earthquakes in the 14th century, its remains fell into the Mediterranean Sea. Today, divers can explore these majestic relics at a depth of 6 to 10 meters, witnessing the grandeur of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World in its final resting place.
