Mount Sinai (also known as Jabal Musa) is a religious and historical mountain located in South Sinai. It is traditionally believed to be the place where Prophet Moses received the Ten Commandments according to the three Abrahamic religions: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. The mountain is a major destination for religious pilgrimage and mountain tourism, attracting thousands of visitors each year to witness the breathtaking sunrise from its summit. Geographical Location: Located in the area of Saint Catherine. Approximately 2–3 hours by car from Sharm El-Sheikh. Elevation: حوالي 2,285 meters above sea level. Surrounded by lower mountain ranges, offering a stunning panoramic landscape. History & Religious Significance: Considered the site of the Ten Commandments in Jewish and Christian traditions. In Islam, it is known as the mountain where God spoke to Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). The mountain was home to early monastic life and stands beside the historic Saint Catherine's Monastery. Due to its sacred status, many visitors climb it on foot as a form of pilgrimage. Climbing Routes: There are two main routes to reach the summit: 1.
